Ron Davidson, a Registered Professional Engineer

Mr. Davidson graduated from Oklahoma State University with an Engineer Degree in the spring of 1972. Mr. Davidson retired from the U. S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel on July 31, 1990.

Mr. Davidson served as a military engineer since he was commissioned an officer in March, 1967 at Fort Belvior, VA. He served in Construction Engineer Battalions as company commander, operations officer and logistical officer. He served in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969 with Army Construction Engineer Battalions. He was in charge of construction of roads, airfields, bunker complexes, military base camps and other military style construction.

Mr. Davidson was the Army Engineer for the State of Oklahoma for Fort Worth Corp. of District Engineers for construction at Fort Sill, Air Force Bases.

Mr. Davidson served as the Deputy Director for the Administration and Services at Red River Army Depot, in charge of all engineering and maintenance at the logistical warehouses and the repair facilities for military personnel carriers.

As Director for Combat Service Support Testing at Fort Hood, Texas, the Army Engineer Battalion organizations were remodeled and tested to include all new equipment during combat exercises.

Mr. Davidson has worked for Bedrock Engineering, LLC, and it’s predecessor, Chief Engineering, Inc., since 1991, always located at the Bedrock Foundation Repair office in Dallas, Texas. He has prepared Engineer’s Reports for other foundation companies in the Dallas, Fort Worth area for over two decades. He has performed about 6,000 foundation inspections, residential and commercial, in the last 18 years.

Steve Barton, a Registered Professional Engineer

Mr. Barton graduated with a Civil Engineering degree in 1978, and received his license as a Professional Engineer in 1983 in Nebraska. He has been licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas since 1985.

Mr. Barton began his professional career as an Area Engineer with the Federal Highway Administration in Nebraska in 1979, but became the County Health Officer in Cook County, Gainesville, Texas in 1987, where he was responsible for design and construction of septic systems. Projects were permitted with subsequent construction inspections to assure compliance with state law. He was also responsible for monitoring development in the floodplain. This extensive experience in water drainage has made Steve an expert in drainage corrections and water control. Steve has worked continuously in Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas for the last 7 years designing drainage corrections for residential and commercial properties. He has also worked in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana as an as a foundation repair and drainage control estimator for Bedrock Foundation Repair, LLC.

Mr. Barton has been employed by Bedrock Engineering, LLC as a Field Engineer for the last 7 years, and also does some estimating for it’s affiliate Bedrock Foundation Repair, LLC. His duties include inspections of foundations and foundation repair projects, and writing Engineer’s Reports for subsequent remedial repairs. He has prepared foundation structural inspections for other foundation repair companies in the Dallas, Fort Worth area as well. Mr. Barton has preformed about 5,000 foundation repair and drainage corrections inspections, and his 35 years of training and experience make him an expert in water control and foundation repairs.
